Wanted brunch and this place is one of the two that was recommended . This place was exactly advertised with a straight forward menu. My wife ordered bacon and eggs with a side of home fries and I had the club sandwich. The eggs were spectacular and the sandwich was excellent. The coffee tasted watered down but somehow I enjoyed it. The milk however had a funny taste and smell to it, wasn’t sure if it’s about to turn or the smell was from the fridge. Left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit.

Kind of say lovely JJ's because they still make old-fashioned style milkshakes which is few and far between these days. Quality food you can't lose at this place

This little hidden gem is wonderful. It feels like you are going to a family's house for breakfast. We were so comfortable and the owners were so kind to us and our little child. The food was also wonderful, large portions and made with love!

Pretty decent little place for breakfast in Fergus. Everyone was friendly and the service was great. Food was good and reasonably priced. Good place to go in between games during a hockey tournament

We tried to find this place once before, however we got hopelessly lost due to equally hopeless directions from some unnamed family members. They could have at least told us the name of the place. Nevertheless this time (armed with the name and Google directions) we tried again and made it. It was worth the trip! And we will be back. Hint look for “St Andrews Mall” not JJ’s Diner, it's inside the mall. I would call this a rough-n-ready family run dive. It’s not pretty, don’t expect matching cutlery or picture perfect ambiance. It is what it is. A down to earth local spot – no pretension. Good food great prices. More than enough in my mind. I ordered the 6.50 “Big Breakfast”. Three eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, home fries and toast. The portions aren’t huge but more than enough and you can always order a side dish. I found the ham a little salty but the bacon was great! And the marble rye bread was awesome. Home fries were probably frozen, but who cares. Coffee was good enough for two mugs (yes mugs and unmatched of course). Pancakes were good if just a little under cooked inside – just like Mom used make. All in all five stars for what it is – just good eats.
